The 8310 Series actuators and accessories match function, traffic patterns and physical design at any location to ensure safe installation of and are to be used with, LCN automatic operators. When using actuators supplied by other companies, such as card readers, consult the factory. The 8310 Series actuators and accessories include 4-1/2 in., 6 in. and 1-1/2 in. x 4-3/4 in. surface and flush mounts; 4-3/4 in. square surface and flush mounts; 4-3/4 in. dual square surface and flush mounts; and 36 in. x 6 in. full-length actuators. Actuators feature engraved blue handicap symbols that conform to most accessibility codes. For most 2-way traffic, an actuator is required on both the interior and exterior side of the door. Scanners operate on 12-Volt or 24-Volt AC/DC and may be powered by the LCN electrohydraulic/electromechanical operators. Sensors detect pedestrians and obstructions to ensure a secure opening and closing. Sensor safety-packages include sensors, spacers, switches, modules and harnesses, depending on the application. Individual accessories include door position switches, key and rocker switches, transformers, drop ceiling brackets, protective covers, wireless conversion kits, safety module kits, safety module harnesses, wireless transmitters, bollard posts, line filters, programmable relay modules and retrofit cables.
