Extruded Aluminum Interior Glass Pocket

CRL Wood Cap Rails

are produced to the customer’s specifications, and can be fully fabricated or shipped in stock 10′ (3.05 m) lengths. They are available in many different configurations, sizes, and types of hardwoods. CRL Wood Cap Rails have an extruded aluminum channel installed, providing a glass pocket, while adding strength, and preventing the wood from splitting.

Delivery is dependent on availability of the wood and production time. Maximum 10′ (3.05 m) lengths are standard; longer lengths are available on special order and dependent upon wood selected. All Wood Cap Rails ship unfinished, and are ready-to-stain at the job site.

NOTE:

95CBL Silicone and Tuff-Pak should be used to secure the Wood Cap Rail to tempered glass. Important Notes: Wood rails are affected by changes in humidity levels. Warping can occur. Rails are shipped in secure packaging to prevent warping and should be left intact until installed. Packaged product should be moved to installation location and allowed to adjust to the humidity prior to unpacking.
